那么向信用公司借Mortgage是不是就意味着你就要付很多钱在利息上了呢?这也是很多华人最关系的问题之一。大家都知道在现在加拿大Mortgage偿还的形式叫做PartiallyAmortized Mortgage,就是说分期偿还贷款,这里的Amortization指的是贷款的总长度比如说20年,25年等,而在Amortization里面又分出Term也就是从6个月到5年的还款期,当一个Term结束的时候,你可以选择一次性付清(Payoff)或者是重新申请Mortgage。所以即使你第一个Term是向信用公司借的Mortgage,当你会了有稳定的收入来源
之后,你还是可以把Mortgage转回到大银行而享受低利率,而在第一个5年Term的时候您的确付的利息会比银行高(不会高太多)一些,不过您买到的房子的价值也同样在以每年5-15%左右递增,这样一来,房子升值的价值大大超过你所多付的利息,而您又能早日拥有自己的房子,免去租房,搬家之苦,何乐而不为呢。
